so that the last race is the decider for the championship,
Hamilton 25 second penalty for cutting chicane, massa then wins ,

massa get a fine for unsafe pit realise then a few races later when he can win and get ahead of lewis ,drive through for unsafe pit realise.
since Shumacer won the championship halfway through the season i have noticed that if there is any likely chance of this happening again someone winning the championship a few races before the last race the fia stewards all ways seem to come up with some penalty to stop this happening.
so do you think the Fia try to manipulate the championship to go down to the wire?

maybe, to get people back into f1 again. it was boring when schumacher just won every race. there was only one point in it last season as well. Hamilton has had some bad decisions from stewards throughout the season but Massa’s pit thing was right to get a penalty, massas only problems this season have been with the reliability of Ferrari. Schumacher was just allot better than everyone else that was racing when he was, he did win 7 championships and 5 in a row.

Fixining it, that may be too harsh to call. I think FIA is just trying to even up the chances of the smaller teams to become competitive.

Yeah they did it last season also, well spotted.

The result at Spa was engineered by the FIA (Hamilton’s crazy penalty) to make the title fight closer and it worked, the title went to the last race.

I think the safety car decision at Brazil was slightly over-cautious, that would have helped Massa as it would have put more pressure on Hamilton, just maybe with that one.

But nothing else in the race was fixed, unless you think that McLaren or Ferrari were seeding the clouds to make it rain or something.
